In excellent condition for a book over 50 years old - pages are bright and binding is tight. There is some underlining throughout the book. This is the 1957 Doubleday Image edition, translated by Warre B. Wells Mauriac won the Nobel Price for Literature in 1952.
Adapted for television in France in 1980 as Le Noeud de vipères.
